proALPHA Designates New CEO
Dr. Friedrich Neumeyer Becomes Successor of Leo Ernst

Dr. Friedrich Neumeyer will take up his new responsibilities as CEO of the proALPHA Software AG on January 1, 2014. The 45-year-old has great market expertise which he has gained in various leading positions in the international ERP business. In his new position, Dr. Neumeyer will accompany the internationally present software company on its further course of growth.
Until he joins proALPHA, Dr. Neumeyer will remain in his position as head of the global partner management of Software AG. Before he joined Software AG, he had held various management positions at SAP AG. There he was responsible of the worldwide sales of SAP solutions for small and medium-sized companies, and later was appointed a member of the management for the sales region Germany/Austria/Switzerland for SME business as well as for the sales of cloud solutions. The physicist with a PhD in nuclear physics began his career as a consultant at McKinsey in Germany and the United States.
Dr. Neumeyer will be replacing the CEO and founder of the company, Leo Ernst, who will retire from the business due to his age towards the end of this year. "Dr. Neumeyer has a profound knowledge of the international ERP business and especially the SME segment. He will significantly contribute to the growth strategy of proALPHA that has the goal to enter new markets," Leo Ernst confidently says about his successor. The husband and father of two children is convinced that proALPHA is well positioned on the ERP market: "Highly innovative products tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises, and a strong team have always been the basis of success for proALPHA. On this great basis we will consistently develop the course of growth, and we will see to it that our customers can maintain their innovative and efficient business in the future."
