Matthias Kläsener Takes Over Technical Division

On January 1, 2011 44 year-old Matthias Kläsener was appointed to the executive board of proALPHA Consulting AG to take over responsibilities for the technical area of business activities. In the scope of his new tasks he will focus on faster responses to customer requirements by means of new technologies and on the extension of services. Matthias Kläsener has a master degree in computer sciences and international business administration and for his new job he can draw upon comprehensive professional experience from various positions in the business.
After his career at medium-sized system integrators he performed management tasks for more than 10 years at IBM Global Services. At IBM he was responsible for the entire scope of services ranging from consulting to support and focusing on business solutions (ERP, CRM, SCM, BI, DMS) and application services (individual development, online services, complex integration projects). In addition to that, business development on the basis of new technologies and the development of ERP business templates for small and medium-sized businesses were part of his job.
Matthias Kläsener is looking forward to contributing his know-how in his position as CEO for the technical part of the business at proALPHA Consulting AG: "In particular it piques my interest to extend services for our customers jointly with the proALPHA team - for example by means of new technological developments to meet customer requirements." He succeeds Dr. Uwe Petersen who left the executive board in April 2010. Further members of the executive board are Markus Klahn who is responsible for sales, Frank Meyenborg for consulting and Leo Ernst for administration and management. proALPHA Consulting AG is a 100% subsidiary of proALPHA Software AG, Weilerbach. This subsidiary is in charge of the entire direct business in Germany, including sales, consulting and project development.
