Comparative Study "Top Job": Employees Enjoy Working with proALPHA. Wolfgang Clement Congratulates.

For 10 years now, "Top Job" seeks and awards excellent personnel work in medium-sized companies. In the anniversary year proALPHA made it among the group of awarded employers for the second time. The company with headquarters in Weilerbach and national sales offices in Ahrensburg, Bad Oeynhausen, Berlin, Stuttgart, Chemnitz, Munich, Wuerzburg and as well abroad will be given the "Top Job" award by mentor Wolfgang Clement at the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.

The business provider proALPHA does not only offer an integrated and complete ERP solution tailored to medium-sized industrial, trade and service companies but also comprehensive business services like consulting, training and support. In this context the dynamic environment considerably varies because every customer project is unique and technical requirements permanently change. Therefore, employees of the ERP provider have to extend their skills continuously and act on their own behalf. Despite high demands, employees will not get under pressure: "Mistakes are not basically a bad thing that has to be avoided by all means. It is possible to learn from mistakes", says Andreas Traut, head of human resources management. Should any problems arise, employees can quickly exchange information online - for example via the company's internal wikipedia.

Those who take on responsibility will have to learn how to organize themselves. For their approximately 500 employees in Germany and abroad proALPHA counts on training programs focusing on communication, information processing, time management and management of goals. For a knowledge-based company, these key qualifications are essential, affirms Traut. Furthermore they will contribute to successfully deal with even most challenging projects. Trust in the competence of the employees and continuing training have convinced the St. Gallen analysts. This is, among others, the reason why proALPHA is one of the "Top Job" employers 2012.

proALPHA successfully faced up to the two-step analysis of the institute of leadership and personnel management of the St. Gallen university. The key item of the analysis made by Professor Dr. Heike Bruch, director of the institute, was the online survey of all employees. In addition to that, the HR administrators of the participating companies were questioned about their work. "On one hand this award of course confirms our way of working and constitutes kudos to our employees. On the other hand this award will be helpful to find qualified new personnel", says Andreas Traut gladly.

An average of 359 employees work for the 94 top medium-sized employers. Almost every third "Top Job 2012" enterprise is family-owned. The fact that among these there are 14 global market leaders and 21 local market leaders proves that good employers are economically successful, too. Hence more than half of the companies pay their employees above the general scale.
