proALPHA at Cebit 2008
Jan 24, 2008
Again in 2008, proALPHA Software AG will take part in the Cebit fair in Hanover. From March 4 to 9 already, the business service provider with headquarters in Weilerbach will present its products at an enlarged stand of 240 square meters. But not only the presentation date has changed. For the first time, visitors will find the ERP specialist in hall 5, stand E18. Among other subjects, proALPHA will show how to utilize IT budgets more efficiently. In addition to that, the proALPHA group will present a new software release.
The current version of proALPHA software offers a variety of innovations to improve processes and handling for almost each and every module. Especially the integration of suppliers and customers into logistic processes to optimize the entire dispatch chain has been considerably extended.
This is not only an advantage for proALPHA customers in the automotive industry but also for the entire supply industry. The software extensions range from an easier to handle EDI management, enforced automation in purchasing processes by means of call orders and dispatch notifications to the integration of customer supplier logistics centres.
In addition to a variety of new functions, the updated proALPHA version focuses on SOA technology. Service oriented architecture facilitates a quick linkage to external interfaces and new user-defined requirements – without any individual programming efforts. The communication between proALPHA customers and their suppliers, for example, will become much easier despite different IT solutions.
Furthermore proALPHA will focus on a very specific subject, i.e. efficient utilization of IT budgets. Appropriate IT applications are an important resource in this process – if they are not implemented as individual measures but based on a concept to increase productivity. proALPHA will show their visitors how to target an IT budget and thus not to put aside the present but to win in the future.
